Newly Released! QUICK! I need ideas for my Choir Lesson! Topic- Teaching Concert Etiquette

Teaching concert etiquette to our middle school singers is really important.  Doing so in a fun and engaging way can help their confidence and help them learn to respect the work they've done to get there.

In this lesson, you will get-

*You will find a link to a 21 page set of ideas for this product.

*The first part of this product is a single, 50-60-minute lesson plan designed to teach your students the main components of good concert etiquette.  You will watch a funny video that covers some of the main topics, and you’ll discuss them.  Then, I assign two activities to you to do with your students that will definitely give you the opportunity to drive home the important elements of performance etiquette in a positive, effective way.

*To extend the value of this lesson beyond the 50-minute initial lesson, I include two videos of middle school choir that you and your students can evaluate for performance etiquette.

*I include four fun games that you can use to drive home the points in this lesson.

*I include tips for reinforcing these lessons throughout the year and importantly, how to involve parents in the process of teaching this subject.  I include a sample email you can send them along with a checklist of the important components of concert etiquette.

*This lesson can last many days if you wish to make it do so.
