To Do's and NOT To Do's of Middle School Chorus- Sub Plans for your Music/Non-Music Sub or a Lesson for YOU and your students!

Setting the tone at the start of the year is really important. Getting students comfortable with procedures and processes helps your class run like clockwork to maximize your instructional time. You can use this lesson for YOU or for your music or non-music sub. This lesson can take one period if you choose at least one of the five extension activity suggestions or it can take several days if you choose to do all five extension activities.

You'll watch an approximately six-minute comedic YouTube video made by real students in Mr. Duncan's classroom. It has gotten tens of thousands of views and has helped drive home and spark important classroom procedure discussions for many years.
